May 5, 2009 ... During its Annual Meeting on May 4th in New Carrollton, MD, Monica Baxley of Chipley FL was reelected to the VALUE Board of Directors and the following adult learner board members were newly-elected:

• Robert Clausen of McCausland, IA

• Ruben Dozal, Jr. of Hollister, CA

• Steven Pritchard of Pleasant Hill, IA

VALUE is the only national literacy organization governed and operated entirely by adult learners. VALUE is always on the lookout for adult learner leaders from around the country to join VALUE's Board. All board members must agree to meet nine qualifications throughout their 3-year term.
