What do people get out of it?

People who take part in VALUE National Adult Learner Leadership Institutes increase their understanding of issues related to adult literacy and learner involvement by interacting with a wide range of people from around the country. They learn new skills and share with others lessons learned through their experiences. Participants also inspire each other to do new things, thereby renewing their commitment and energy to improve adult literacy efforts in the U.S. through learner involvement and leadership.
